AI-Powered Paraphrase for Members lets Gaggle Members rewrite the text of a LinkedIn Share Activity with AI before they share it. Because each Member can create their own version of the post, fewer people share the exact same content, and every share offers a fresh, unique perspective to their network.
AI-Powered Paraphrase for Members is an add-on module powered by OpenAI, and it works with LinkedIn Share Activities.
Using AI-Powered Paraphrase for Members
📍 Important Note: This feature is only available to Gaggles that have opted in to our AI-Powered Paraphrase for Members module. If you are interested in having this functionality available in your Gaggle, please contact your Customer Success Manager or [open a support ticket].
When your Gaggle has access to AI-Powered Paraphrase, Gaggle Managers can turn on AI paraphrasing for any LinkedIn Share Activity. When you receive one of these Activities, you can use our AI tools to generate new text before you share it.
Paraphrasing a LinkedIn Share Activity
1. Go to Activities > Things to Do and find the Share on LinkedIn Activity you want to complete.
2. In the actions on the right side of the Activity card, click AI-Powered Paraphrase.

💡 Tip: You can also click Schedule on the Activity card. This opens the same window, where you can paraphrase the text before scheduling the post.
3. The Edit and Schedule Activity window opens on the Edit Content tab, where you can see the Activity’s text.
4. Click the AI-Powered Paraphrase button below the text box to generate a new version of the text. You can click it as many times as you like until you’re happy with the result. You can also edit the text manually.
5. (Optional) Open the Preview Post tab to see how your post will look on LinkedIn.
6. When you’re ready, do one of the following:
- Click Share on LinkedIn to share the post now.
- Click Schedule Activity, or use the Schedule tab, to share it at a later date and time.
📍 Note: There is a limit of roughly 900 characters for both the original and the paraphrased text. The AI-Powered Paraphrase button is disabled when the text is longer than 900 characters.
Text edited with AI-Powered Paraphrase is treated the same way as text you edit manually. Your message keeps its meaning and relevance, but you may want to adjust the formatting before you share it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Activities can I paraphrase?
You can use AI-Powered Paraphrase on Share on LinkedIn Activities. Other Activity types, such as Click to Comment, React to Content, and Click to Repost, don't include this option.
Why don't I see the AI-Powered Paraphrase option on an Activity?
There are a few possible reasons:
- The Activity isn't a Share on LinkedIn Activity.
- Your Gaggle Manager didn't turn on AI paraphrasing for that Activity.
- Your Gaggle doesn't have the AI-Powered Paraphrase for Members module.
If you think the option should be there, please reach out to your Gaggle Manager.
How many times can I paraphrase the text?
As many times as you like. Each click on AI-Powered Paraphrase generates a new version, so keep going until you find one you're happy with.
What does "Auto-AI-Paraphrased for Uniqueness" mean?
This label means your Gaggle Manager used AI to create a unique version of the post just for you, so the text you receive is already paraphrased. You can share it as is, or paraphrase it again with AI-Powered Paraphrase.
Can I edit the text after paraphrasing it?
Yes. On the Edit Content tab, you can make manual changes to the paraphrased text before you share or schedule it.
Can I schedule a paraphrased post instead of sharing it right away?
Yes. After paraphrasing, click Schedule Activity or open the Schedule tab to choose a date and time. You can also click Schedule on the Activity card, which opens the same window, where you can paraphrase the text before scheduling it.
Is there a character limit?
Yes. Both the original and the paraphrased text are limited to roughly 900 characters. If the text is longer than that, the AI-Powered Paraphrase button will be disabled.
Should I review the text before sharing?
Yes. AI-generated text is treated the same way as text you edit manually, so it's a good idea to read it through and check the formatting. Use the Preview Post tab to see how your post will look on LinkedIn.
