How Do I Enable the Centrify Single Sign-On Integration?

Using a Single Sign-On integration with Centrify, a Single Sign-On service, allows your Gaggle Managers and Members to leverage a single point of authentication (like Google) to sign into multiple platforms. This helps Gaggle Managers and Members to only retain one username and password to log into multiple services. It also benefits the company as access can be terminated across multiple services by discontinuing their access to the account used for Single Sign-On (for example, the employees Google account).

 

Let’s learn how to connect GaggleAMP to Centrify with this integration guide.

Submitting a Request to GaggleAMP: Without a Centrify Account

If you do not have a Centrify account already, and you want to use them as your Single Sign-On provider, you’ll first need to contact GaggleAMP support.

  1. Contact GaggleAMP Support via the GaggleAMP application or email support@gaggleamp.com. In the message, let’s us know “I would like to enable the Centrify integration for my Gaggle.”

  2. GaggleAMP Support will respond with a special link that you or your IT team can use to configure Centrify inside GaggleAMP.

:pencil2: Note: If you already have a Centrify admin account, you can skip this step entirely.

 

Sign-Up for a Centrify Account

To sign-up for a Centrify account, please visit Centrify and engage their sales team. You will need to work with them directly to secure a Centrify account.

Once you have secured a Centrify account, you will go through account set-up with them.

 

Create a New Application in Centrify

Once you have signed up for a Centrify account, you will need to log-on to Centrify. Once logged in, from the admin portal, select ‘Apps’ and then select ‘Add Web Apps.’

From here, the ‘Add Web Apps’ screen will appear — select ‘Custom’ and the ‘SAML’ application. Choose ‘Add.’

This will prompt a Web App screen in which you will need to select ‘Yes’ to add the application. Once ‘Yes’ has been selected, click ‘Close’ to exit the Application Catalog.

The application that has just been added will open to the Application Settings page.

Here you will need to ensure the GaggleAMP SAML credentials you obtained from our customer success team. You’ll enter ‘http://ssoo.dev.auth/saml/callback’ into the box marked 'Assertion Consumer Service URL.

Check to ensure the rest of your credentials match the above settings. Centrify provides the “Identity Provider SAML Metadata” URL. This link will need to be supplied on the special link that GaggleAMP generated for your organization in order to automatically configure Centrify. In addition to the metadata URL, you will also need to retrieve the “Issuer”value.

Once all sections are confirmed, choose ‘Save.’

 

Submitting Your Centrify Configuration to GaggleAMP

Using the configuration values noted in the prior section, you will need to visit the special link that GaggleAMP support provided you and enter the following values:
