Create richer LinkedIn Share Post activities with multiple images or a PDF, and decide whether Members can edit the content before sharing.
The LinkedIn Multi-Image and Document Posts feature lets you create richer LinkedIn Share Post activities for Members. You can attach up to 20 images or one PDF document, then control whether Members can edit the message or choose from the images you provide.
Use the instructions below while you are in the activity editor. Each step tells you exactly where to look on the screen.
For each Share Post activity, you can attach one of the following:
- Up to 20 images
- One video
- One PDF document
Important: Images, videos, and PDFs cannot be combined in the same activity.
Create a LinkedIn Post with Multiple Images
1. From the Manager dashboard, start creating a new activity and select the LinkedIn Share Post activity. The Share Post editor opens in a pop-up window in the center of the screen.
The Share Post editor opens in the center of the screen.
2. On the left side of the Share Post editor, click inside the large Recommended Message text box and enter the copy you want Members to use on LinkedIn.
Use the large text area on the left for the Recommended Message.
3. Look at the bottom-right area of the editor and find Recommended Media. To add an image, either click inside the upload area and select a file from your computer, or drag and drop the image directly into the Recommended Media box.
On the bottom-right side of the editor, click the Recommended Media upload area.
4. Choose an image from your computer. After it uploads, look back at the Recommended Media area on the right. You should see the image appear as a thumbnail.
After uploading, the image appears as a thumbnail in Recommended Media.
5. To add more images, repeat the same process in Recommended Media: click the upload area to select another file, or drag and drop additional images into the box. Repeat this until you have added all of the images you want to include.
Additional images appear together in the Recommended Media area.
6. Review the image thumbnails from left to right. Upload the images in the order you want them to appear on LinkedIn because you cannot drag them into a different order after they are uploaded.
Review the thumbnails in the Recommended Media section before publishing.
Tip: If the image order is wrong, remove the images and upload them again in the correct sequence.
7. If you added the wrong image, use the remove control on that image thumbnail in the Recommended Media area. Then click the upload area again to add the correct file.
8. Scroll or move to the activity settings near the bottom of the editor. Review the options that control whether Members can edit the content before sharing.

Create a LinkedIn Post with a PDF Document
1. Open a new LinkedIn Share Post activity. On the left side, enter your Recommended Message in the large text box.
Start with the Recommended Message on the left and the Recommended Media area on the right.
2. Look at the bottom-right side of the editor and click inside the Recommended Media upload area.
3. Select the PDF from your computer, or drag the PDF directly into the Recommended Media box.
The PDF appears in the Recommended Media area on the right after upload.
4. Check the document preview on the right side to confirm that you uploaded the correct PDF. GaggleAMP may show the first page as the preview.
5. If the PDF is incorrect, remove it from the Recommended Media area and upload the correct document.
6. Review the settings near the bottom of the editor, then click the publish/save action in the bottom-right area when the activity is ready.
Important: Only one PDF can be attached to an activity. If images are already attached and you upload a PDF, the PDF replaces the images.
