The Broadcast Activity feature allows Gaggle Managers to send an immediate notification to Members announcing new content is available. This is designed to help Gaggle Managers make time-sensitive content available and notify their Members of it immediately, without having to wait for the next email notification to be sent.
To broadcast an activity you will first need to assign a campaign to the posts or posts you would like to have broadcasted. Once the posts have been added to the Gaggle, you can choose to broadcast the campaign via the "Campaigns" section of your Manager Dashboard.
Once you have accessed the "Campaign" section, you will be able to select which Campaign you would like to broadcast by clicking the gear icon that is associated with the selected campaign.
On the "Create a Broadcast" page, you will need to complete three steps to broadcast the message.
- Supply an explanation as to why the messages are being broadcasted. The explanation will appear in the email sent to your Members. (Required)
- Select whether you want the broadcast to take place immediately, or in the future.
- Click "Send Broadcast" to complete the broadcast.
You can only perform a broadcast twice per week. If you are managing multiple Gaggles, this will be on a per Gaggle basis.
