There may be instances where you want to track activity at a more detail level. GaggleAMP allows you to customize URL parameters to enhance reporting at the Gaggle and Member level. The custom parameters will then be used by your marketing automation system (e.g. Marketo, Eloqua, etc.) to provide the level of detail you need.
Gaggle-Level Parameters
The following Gaggle-level parameters can be added to your URLs.
- organization_name
- organization_id
- enterprise_subscription_name
- enterprise_subscription_id
- campaign_name
- message_id
- message_text_first_64_characters
To add a custom parameter go to Manager View - Manage - Integrations and click on 'Edit Parameters' under Customer Lead Source Parameters.
In the Edit Marketing Automation Parameters section, add or edit an existing parameter in the Query Parameters text area with any of the fields listed above. For example, if you want to add the Gaggle name as a source parameter, type &utm_source={{organization_name}} at the end of the string. If you want 'GaggleAMP' with the Gaggle name, include it in the string. For example, &utm_source= GaggleAMP {{organization_name}}.
There is an 'Insert a Query Parameter' drop-down that lists the parameter options and allows you to insert them without concern of typos.
Once you've made your changes, click the 'Update Query Parameter' button to submit changes.
Member-Level Parameters
You can include custom fields or a unique member identifier in your UTM parameters. To enable this level of tracking, please contact our Customer Success team.
Please note: If a Member has disabled individual Click Tracking (in Member Settings) you will not receive any data on that user.
