How do I configure GaggleAMP's Integration with my company's instance?

GaggleAMP/Salesforce Integration

Setup Instructions



GaggleAMP’s Salesforce Integration allows Gaggle Members to join your company’s Gaggle(s) and perform Activities directly from Salesforce.


The integration is currently only available for the desktop view of Salesforce.

Package Components

GaggleAMP’s Package contains the following components:

  • 1 Custom Field

  • 1 Visualforce Page

  • 1 Tab

  • 1 Connected App

  • 1 Document Folder and 1 Document

  • Deprecated Components (Still in package, but no longer used)

    • 1 Custom Field

    • 1 Custom Setting

    • 1 Button or Link

    • 1 Visualforce Page


It does not create or modify any objects in your Salesforce instance.


GaggleAMP Installation Instructions

The Gaggle Manager performs this part of the integration.


After the Salesforce Package is installed, please follow these steps to connect your Salesforce instance to GaggleAMP:

  1. Visit the “Integrations” page in the GaggleAMP Manager View

  2. Click “Link Salesforce Account”, then follow the prompts to authorize GaggleAMP to access your Salesforce instance
  3. If you would like to enable Announcements in a Chatter group whenever new content is added to your Gaggle, then select the target Chatter group from the dropdown and click “Update Integrations”

That’s it! Now, when your Members visit the “GaggleAMP” tab in Salesforce, they will be able sign up for the Gaggle and access all Member functionality right from within Salesforce.
